Günther Steiner believes that the interval in which the driver can feel the support of Ferrari fans and/or the professional world is about half a year.
However, if no results come in this time, the current hype could easily turn into the opposite.
"I'm sure he'll get his time. There will be a grace period where no one can criticize him. But it won't last forever and it won't drag on until the end of the season. I think he needs to show results within six months at the most—serious results!
But he doesn't have to stress about it. As a professional athlete, he would never start something he thought wasn't a good fit for him or that he couldn't function in. If someone feels that way, they'd be better off not starting at all... And if it does happen to go wrong, he can deal with it as it happens.
Lewis sees it as something he'll do; he's not wasting unnecessary energy allowing negative feelings to undermine that belief. He's simply going to give his best, and that means leading Scuderia Ferrari back to the top after 2007," Günther Steiner philosophized.
One thing's for sure: if he succeeds, he'll surely go to heaven as an eight-time world champion. However, if Charles Leclerc beats him, the ground beneath his feet could get very hot... We're in for some exciting months!
