In a long, action-packed race, Oscar Piastri handed over the commanding start-to-finish victory to Lando Norris to help him in the points classification.

Oscar Piastri made an excellent start, easily maintaining his lead, and there were no changes at the front. Max Verstappen aggressively attempted to overtake Charles Leclerc, but was unsuccessful after several attempts. Nico Hülkenberg, on the other hand, made the most improvements of all the drivers on track, while the fronts hardened behind him. Sergio Perez also gave his all, with the Mexican driver seriously struggling to maintain his position at Red Bull Racing. In the final quarter of the race, Verstappen caught Leclerc and took third place, while McLaren was preparing for a position swap. This happened on lap 22, and the race almost ended under VSC due to Hülkenberg's retirement, with only half a lap of racing remaining. In the end, Lando Norris won the sprint race ahead of Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen.
