Lewis Hamilton recently admitted that, from a career perspective, it would have been a greater risk to stay at Mercedes, where there has been little progress for many years.
So, following his gut feeling, he ended up at Scuderia Ferrari…
"Actually, every new opportunity is a leap into the unknown. No one can predict the future; changing jobs, changing teams, always involves risks. However, I think the really big risk is staying in a comfortable situation, because that only makes you arrogant.
That's why—let's call it instinct or gut feeling—I chose Scuderia Ferrari. I was longing for a challenge, because that's exactly what I need right now. Wonderful people and wonderful opportunities await me here. I'm really looking forward to working with them and believe that together we can achieve something truly special.
