Lewis Hamilton has truly arrived at Scuderia Ferrari. This is evident from the fact that he's already using ambiguous hints to explain his performance, just as he did against George Russell...
Although Hamilton has won a sprint race in the last three races, he still trails Charles Leclerc in the points standings. The car is to blame for this:
"I sincerely hope I can achieve a positive change by the next race. In the previous races, I've had a slight disadvantage due to an element of the car that behaved strangely and underperformed. That's good to know when we evaluate the last few races; I couldn't get more out of the package.
"I really hope that once this is resolved, I'll be able to achieve better results. I'm losing a little over a tenth due to the problem, so I hope that when the new element arrives, the two cars will be the same," Lewis Hamilton suggested, but after their team boss's explanation, it's hard to take any of this seriously...
"The balance, behavior, and poise of the car reflect the driver's choices and needs. It's important to emphasize that we're still getting to grips with the car, trying different approaches, but I think the picture will be different in Bahrain. We tested there for three days, and I think our car will perform better," Fred Vasseur said, rejecting Hamilton's suggestions, which could also be interpreted as a conspiracy theory.
