Forbes business magazine, which took base salaries and bonuses into account and expressed them in US dollars, today published the highest-earning figures for this year's ten drivers in the world championship. Topping the list is now four-time world champion Max Verstappen, who boasts a salary of $75 million.
Lewis Hamilton also has nothing to be ashamed of, while Lando Norris, who is at the bottom of the imaginary income podium, is already positioned abysmally far from the top two. It's interesting to observe how significantly bonuses influence the final sum. There are also some interesting points, such as the more than humorous way Carlos Sainz Jr. or Pierre Gasly can finish behind Sergio Perez, but Oscar Piastri's low base salary is also more than surprising...
