Johnny Herbert believes that Lewis Hamilton could face very difficult times as he has not faced such a big challenge within the team since Fernando Alonso.
Hamilton's defeat at the hands of George Russell within the team – that's the baggage he brings to Scuderia Ferrari, while Charles Leclerc is in great form. He also has plenty of experience battling multiple world champions, including sending a certain Sebastian Vettel into retirement with a nasty thrashing... Herbert believes that, given the history, it won't necessarily be the Briton who emerges as the winner.
"No one should expect Charles to hold back. Just remember that Sebastian Vettel moved to Ferrari as a four-time world champion, and then Charles came along and simply ousted him. He won't be afraid of Lewis Hamilton, quite the opposite! He will be respectful but also aware. He's aware that Hamilton will be a serious opponent, but from the very first meters, he'll do everything he can to get the best out of himself.

Leclerc has invested a lot in 2024, and this new challenge will take him to a level that both he and Ferrari need if they want to achieve their goals," Herbert said mysteriously.
