The weekend started badly for Scuderia Ferrari at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, where the Reds are fighting for nothing less than the Constructors' World Championship.
They're already two points behind in this race... While the driver suffered food poisoning at the end-of-season party, his car's battery died. It all started off perfectly, with Charles Leclerc able to take to the track at the same time as his brother Arthur:
"It all started last night when I got food poisoning. I didn't sleep all night, I was terribly tired, and all I could think about was when I could finally get to bed. The day started off very difficult... I didn't really feel ready to get in the car, but I was very motivated because we'd be able to drive together with Arthur. This is a dream come true, which is why our whole family traveled here, so I couldn't miss it just for that reason alone.

When it became clear that we were having problems with the battery and needed replacing, a lot of thoughts came to mind. First, that I might lose the opportunity to be on track with my brother for a Formula 1 weekend. Then there's the Constructors' Championship... We have to start from ten places back, which makes the weekend much more difficult. But overall, I see it as a challenge! I'm already feeling a little better, getting a good night's sleep, and coming back with charged batteries. What we need is a great morning and an incredible Sunday!" said the unhappy Charles Leclerc.
