According to Red Bull Racing's advisor, Lewis Hamilton is in deep trouble and can no longer hide it. The Briton's despair is completely obvious.
Helmut Marko believes that Hamilton has already lost the current year and is concentrating all his efforts on the next one:
"The truth is, I find him quite desperate. I think he's already waiting for the rule changes and his 2026 race car, hoping that Scuderia Ferrari will build a car this time that suits him much better and with which he'll have a chance to win his eighth world championship title."
Even Frederic Vasseur does not deny that Hamilton has not been feeling well lately, but the team boss believes that this can only be to his advantage:
"It's certain that he's down, having only finished seventh while Charles Leclerc was on the podium. But I think he can turn this into a strength, because the real problem would be if he were satisfied. He isn't. He's hungry for success, motivated, and has an exceptionally competitive spirit, always striving to get the best possible performance out of himself. He doesn't always succeed, so his disappointment is understandable. Now we just have to work and rule everything out, and I support him 2000 percent in finding his true form."
