"Maybe I'm putting too much pressure on myself. It's not because I'm fighting for the world championship title, that would be the case too. It's because I want to be good, very, very good! I want to get pole position, win a race, be perfect. And I make mistakes because I want to be perfect, but maybe I should accept the idea that no one can be perfect.
I think I need to calm down, have more confidence in myself and my pace, because I know my pace is the best. I'm absolutely certain I can win every race if I perform better in qualifying than I have so far. It's easy to say that, but hard to do, and that's exactly what I need to do: go out on track and work better than I have so far. I'll work on that!" Norris promised himself.
