The Mexican driver barely had a moment in 2024; often, even reaching Q2 of a qualifying session is beyond his capabilities. That he's still part of Red Bull Racing is a miracle, but Perez still has hope and wants to fight at the front of the field in Las Vegas!
"As far as I know, I'll now be getting the same specification that Max has been using in recent races, especially regarding the ground. I'm getting that now, too, and that gives me confidence, and I think I can be at the front of the field. The team knows me, knows what I'm capable of (...), they know all the data and information about me, no wonder they renewed my contract.
This season has been quite difficult so far, I'm not going through the easiest phase of my career, but I hope to achieve good results in the last three races of the year," Perez said clearly.
