Oscar Piastri has set the bar high over the past two years and aims to raise it even higher this year. The Australian isn't content with a subordinate role and aims to win the individual title in addition to the Constructors' World Championship!
In his first season he finished 9th, in his second year he was already 4th and this year he will explicitly and tacitly aim for the individual world championship title:
"I think I can position myself as a contender in the fight for the 2025 World Championship. I'm aware that I still have room for improvement and learning, but I've reached the point where there are days when I have everything I need to win. I just need to be able to put things together. Many have said that I lacked balance, but balance alone doesn't make you successful; you also need raw speed and good tire management. I mainly see it as having to take a step forward in qualifying to put my laps together better.

I've often made life difficult for myself by finishing a few places behind where I could have been... Now I've reached the point where I just need to put things together. We're battling at the top now, and it's much more obvious when you're not doing something very well, but I feel like I have everything I need to win the World Championship," Oscar Piastri said resolutely.
