The 2025 season has had a mixed start for Scuderia Ferrari. The good news, however, is that their problems are primarily due to setup issues rather than design flaws.
As the prestigious La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, the Italian team has been working hard over the past week and a half, and that work is paying off. Based on the simulator work, it's already clear that they've managed to find solutions to their problems, thanks to the team's testing of 20 different setups since the Chinese Grand Prix. This has resolved the issues observed at the beginning of the year, meaning the Scuderia will head to Japan with a completely unusual suspension setup.
The team is calm and confident that their car has no design issues, and they're confident they can unlock their car's potential this weekend. This means the Reds will also be in contention for the World Championship points. After that, the development packages will arrive, first in Bahrain, followed by a more comprehensive update in Miami. With these "updates," Ferrari aims to balance the suspension mechanics and the aerodynamics of the rear of the car.
