Ralf Schumacher believes it's impossible for Lewis Hamilton to be successful with Scuderia Ferrari this year. Should the team win the individual competition, it will have Charles Leclerc to thank.
Schumacher does not give a technical explanation for this, but expresses it as a feeling:
"I don't know why, but I have a feeling that if Ferrari wins the world championship, it will be Charles Leclerc. When you change teams and join a new team in Formula 1, you need at least six to eight months to fully acclimatize to the working environment and find yourself completely at home. And I think that's completely independent of how talented, fast, experienced, or hardworking you are. Let's not forget that Leclerc won't be idling during this time either; quite the opposite. He will use every skill he can to his advantage. This includes his six years of experience, his fluent Italian, and, of course, the contacts he's built up..." mused the former driver.
