The latter marks the first female engineer in Formula 1, which was made possible by position changes within the team. The young lady, named Laura Müller, will be Esteban Ocon's right-hand woman. According to Komatsu, the pair is a winner!
"She's an incredibly determined character. And since Esteban is also a similar character, I think the two of them fit together really well. Laura is the best at it: when she spots a particular problem, she immediately dives into it, digs very deep, and comes up with several possible solutions. Some people stop at the first assessable answer, but not her. She has a fantastic work ethic and knows that when she finds a solution to a problem, she also sees that it means she has to answer ten more questions.
