The sprint race continued the US Grand Prix, where Max Verstappen was able to start from pole position after a long time and managed to convert this advantage into a victory.
Verstappen got off to a good start, but Lando Norris made an even better start and immediately overtook the Dutchman for second place. Behind them, George Russell held his position steadily, while there was no major movement at the back. The situation was completely different for Scuderia Ferrari, where the drivers battled hard against each other and also affected their direct rivals. Reading the names between first and sixth place, there was nothing particularly surprising, but further down the field, things looked different: two Haas drivers in the top ten, and Sergio Perez, as usual, was unable to overtake Yuki Tsunoda in the more powerful car, so events took a turn for the worse. Finally, after a fierce battle, Perez managed to overtake the Japanese, who even overtook Oscar Piastri. After lap 19, Verstappen's victory was already undeniable, but behind him a fierce battle for the podium raged. In the end, Carlos Sainz, who showed exceptional performances throughout the sprint, secured second place ahead of Lando Norris.
The timing will follow soon, hopefully with similar excitement!
