The Ferrari team boss is aware that all hell will break loose the moment Lewis Hamilton puts on the red jumpsuit. However, Frederic Vasseur has signaled that he's not interested in that, but only in performance on the track...
The boss of the Scuderia doesn't care how big the hustle and bustle will be; he wants to concentrate exclusively on his work and demands the same from the newly arrived driver:
"I don't care how much fuss is made; we need to focus on the upcoming season. We have a very intense period ahead of us, starting with the presentation day, and I want everyone to be focused on performance. We have the season opener, the car presentation, and those are already two events, which are more than enough. I want us to put the show aside and focus only on how we can improve. There will be the car presentation—those are already two events, which I think are already too much. That's more than enough! I want the focus to be on improving performance, not the show."

"It's always a serious challenge, because there are only six weeks from the beginning of January until the presentation in London, and it won't be easy. But Lewis already has experience in these matters; he's not a newcomer, so I'm not afraid of the pressure that awaits him. He'll only have a few days to get used to everything before the tests, but we have our simulator where he can learn how the steering wheel works, all the ins and outs of the car, and conduct timed qualifying and race simulations. He'll also have a second home in Milan, so he can spend as much time with us as possible," the team principal reflected on the upcoming tasks.
