A door through which Max Verstappen is increasingly peeking out, and it's almost certain that sooner or later he will actually exit. Excellent evidence of this is the "statement" the Dutchman made in Japan at the farewell to Honda's engine partner:
"We've had a great adventure together, one I've truly enjoyed. Of course, we've had some partial successes before Honda, but I never dreamed we'd reach such heights together. The four championship titles speak for themselves! Now I'm just trying to enjoy this weekend; I want to be as fast as possible, but the most important thing is that we celebrate what we've achieved together in Formula 1. And perhaps also what shared successes await us in the future..." Verstappen made a significant suggestion.
