Although our online store's network and news span Europe, we don't want to, and can't, deny our Hungarian identity. Therefore, we're delighted to announce that a certain driver named Verstappen will be competing in Rally Hungary this April!
The center, as you know, will be the now renovated and beautiful old town of Veszprém. The one at the helm will be Jos Verstappen, who has recently become heavily involved in rallying and plans to complete the entire EB season this year. This includes Rally Hungary, so dear F1 fans from Veszprém and the surrounding area, mark April 12-14 in your calendars... Verstappen Senior will also be competing in the Belgian championship at the same time and plans to essentially complete a full season by participating in additional races:
"This year, we plan to participate in 19-20 races. All the Belgian Championship races, all the European Championship races, the Valais Rally, and also a Swiss Historic race. We also plan to participate in the East African Safari Classic Rally; I think we'll have a fantastic program this year," the participants explained.
Before you ask, no, we can't count on Max Verstappen's appearance, as he's currently racing at the Bahrain Grand Prix. But let's not be greedy... 😉
