An individual world champion from Red Bull Racing believes that McLaren's young drivers, especially Lando Norris, still have a lot to learn.
The Dutchman believes that if McLaren had acted more consistently, it would not have been him but the Papayas who would have celebrated an individual world championship title:
"Lando Norris would have won the world championship, no matter how big my lead was. Simply because they had the best car, but as a team and individually they still have a lot to learn if they want to convert those credits into victories. They won the Constructors' Championship nicely, which is fine, but they could have prepared better for the Drivers' race. Instead, I hear things like this: Papaya rules... Honestly, is that a joke? What does that mean? That you can't race? When I hear such nonsense on the radio, I immediately counter: Shut up...!! That's what was missing, that they are able to show strength." - Max Verstappen revealed the secret.

What do you think, if Lando Norris had been more aggressive in certain situations, would he really have had a chance to beat Max Verstappen?
