At the public presentation at London's O2 Arena, not everyone was genuinely pleased with Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing. Perhaps understandably, this doesn't really sit well with the four-time world champion, who could boycott similar events in the future...
It was clear from early on from Verstappen's expression that he was not really enthusiastic about the London circus, and Jos Verstappen also revealed that his son was disgusted by everything because of the audience's reactions:
"I would describe what happened to Red Bull Racing as disgraceful. This event is supposed to promote Formula 1, and then one of the sport's greatest champions is booed... Max told me he doesn't want to experience something like that again, and if such an event takes place in the future—assuming it's in England—he will certainly stay away. The truth is, I have to agree with him. He does everything for the sport; he was there to serve the spectators and, of course, to showcase the car's livery. But when you're faced with such circumstances, you ask yourself: Why did I come here? And that this was the last time." Verstappen Sr. conveyed his son's dissatisfaction.
